Description
Villa Montgomery is a 58 unit mixed use, affordable housing project located at the corner of El Camino Real and Vera Street. The project includes one level of underground parking with two levels of post-tensioned concrete and four levels of wood framed construction. The below grade level serves as residential parking and the street level serves a combination of future retail spaces, common area residential support facilities, and parking to serve the retail spaces. This project achieved a LEED NC–2.1, “Gold” rating by incorporating elements including energy-efficient windows, photovoltaic panels for electricity and HVAC systems that contributed to a 20 percent energy reduction.
