Description

The “shell space” prior to construction was 48” below the exiting doors to the sidewalk, so the entire space was built on top of seismically engineered raised access flooring system.  With high concrete ceilings, this space required acoustic treatment all through out.  Private offices and conference rooms are finished with a transom of translucent Polygal material to bring light into the spaces.  The office is located on Oxford Street in Berkeley, so traffic control, daily deliveries, and pedestrian safety, were all carefully planned in advance.
